Susanne Bruckmüller, sebruckm@phil.uni-erlangen.de

I recently gained my Master's degree from KU. Currently, I am a graduate student at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, where I work with Andrea E. Abele. I am interested in the cultural grounding of agency and constructions of agency. Other research interests include the glass cliff effect-the higher selection of women for leadership positions in times of crisis.

Donna M. Garcia, dgarcia4@uwo.ca

Donna M. Garcia is a postdoctoral fellow in the social psychology program at the University of Western Ontario. She works under the supervision of Victoria Esses, a internationally renown scholar in the area of intergroup relations and immigration. Donna’s research focuses on the various circumstances that induce members of both high and low status groups to resist social change and respond to social inequality in ways that – consciously or unconsciously – perpetuate the status quo.
